This year we celebrated Mother’s Day at the Farm. It is always fun to bring all of the little cousins together. They are all becoming such great friends and I am so happy that they will all grow up with one another. What a gift! This was my second Mother’s Day, and it was double the fun with my two sweet babies. I love that we take the time to honor our Mother’s and all of the hard work they put in to raise us!

Easter 2011
Despite Easter being much later than it was last year, a cold front blew in a cooled things down a bit, requiring us don sweaters with our Easter attire. We had a lovely day. We started the day with Mass, followed by a delicious lunch with family at Mary and David's. Despite the cold the kids were so excited about the Easter egg hunt. Luke could have hunted for eggs all day long! Another treat for the day was having a photographer come by to capture some special moments. Suzanne is a friend of the family and has an amazing eye. See some of the photos she shot of our family on her blog SuzOjo.
What a wonderful day we had, spending time with friends and family and celebrating our Lord Jesus and the suffering he endured for US. What an amazing gift!

Christmas 2010
We have so much to be thankful for this Christmas. A beautiful new house to call our home. A wonderful community to start this new chapter of our lives. Wonderful family who is supportive and loving. Incredible friends whom we cherish theirfriendships. A precious little girl who lights up our lives each and every day.A baby boy on the way whom we cannot wait to meet. We have been blessed with so much, but none of it would be possible without the love of Jesus Christ. We remember his birth this year and what a joyous and earth shaking event that it was! It is He that we are most thankful for this Christmas, for without Him we are nothing.
We celebrated this joyous occasion with our family in Wichita Falls. Enjoying food and fellowship with those close to our hearts. On Christmas Eve we attended Mass at Our Lady of Guadelupe followed by dinner at Peggy and Senior's.
Miss V enjoyed Christmas so much! Watching her face light up as she discovered different surprises wrapped inside colorful boxes made my day. Experiencing the wonders of Christmas reminds you of the delight of giving and the simple things that you tend to forget in the hustle and bustle of the holidays. On Christmas morning we woke up and opened presents as a family. Vivi was delighted to see a new play kitchen and a butterfly rocker! When we finished up at our house we drove over to Mary and David's to open presents with the rest of the family and have Christmas morning breakfast and coffee. One last stop at Mammy's for lunch with the crew before heading home for naps and relaxation. It was a wonderful day!

Christmas Ornaments
It's fitting that this year I am more obsessed with Christmas decorations than ever. Of course you want what you can't have. And since we are in the midst of moving to a new home, there are very, very few decorations around our house. Since we will not put up our Christmas tree until we are in the new house, I have been daydreaming about all of the beautiful ornaments that I could decorate the tree with. For years I have loved Christopher Radko, and my love for hand blown glass ornaments has only grown with my appreciation for the little works of art. As is tradition in many families, we do an annual Christmas ornament for everyone in the family. This year we get to add the following to our tree, and I cant wait to see how they look!

Thanksgiving
We have a lot to be thankful for this year. Looking back at the year in review we have been very blessed. We are blessed with a delightful, healthy little girl that lights up our life each day. We are blessed to be expecting a little boy in Spring 2011. We are blessed with wonderfully supportive families. We are blessed with a beautiful home to come home to every day. And we are blessed with each other.
We spent Thanksgiving in Wichita Falls this year. It was a beautiful day. A cold front blew through early that morning, bringing with it the first frost of the season. We all came together to enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving lunch, followed by an afternoon of visiting and football.
Late that afternoon Trey head up to the Ranch for his first weekend of the hunting season. He shot a 201 inch buck (whatever that means), that he is extremely proud of. Matt also shot a beauty, so it was a very successful weekend.
While the boys were away, Vivi and I spent time with Sarah, Elizabeth, and Luke. Vivi had a wonderful time playing with her cousins. On Friday night, we went over to the S&M's and had dinner with Stephanie and her two girls. All five of those kids were a handful! They had so much fun playing with one another and wore themselves out.

Happy Halloweekend!
I LOVE Halloweekend! Unfortunately, for the past 2 years I have not participated in dressing up, which shocks even me, as I love a good theme party. At least I have a cute little girl to dress up! I am starting to see she loves playing dress up as much as her mommy. This year, Vivi was a belly dancer for Halloween, and what an adorable belly dancer she made.
We had a pretty low key Halloween. We made some dinner, and then struck out to collect some candy before it got too dark. I was anticipating a bunch of kids coming through the neighborhood, but we only had 5 trick-or-treaters! I was shocked! Oh well, Trey and I enjoyed the candy in the weeks to come instead. Not so great for the waistline.

Fourth of July
Happy Fourth of July!!!
The Fourth of July is always a fun weekend in our household. Since we are fortunate enough to have a pool in our backyard, our house tends to be the gathering spot for friends, fun, and food during the summer months. We spent the day with Sam, Mallon, Blake, Toni, and their dogs enjoying the rather chilly water. The weather that we have been experiencing lately cooled down the pool and made for a bearable Fourth. It was a blast!
