Free Weekend!

I am so excited to announce that this weekend I don't have to work!!!!!!

For the past 2 months I have been clocking 55 hours workweeks, and working on Saturdays. It has been a grueling schedule that includes working from 7 to 7, getting home spending a couple of hours with Trey and Vivi and going to bed by 10. Not working today is a good signal that busy season is on the wind down. And I have survived. I am so thankful that Trey has been such a huge help at home, otherwise I am not sure if I could have made it. We have also been hugely blessed with a wonderful Nanny for Vivi. She is willing to stay late and Vivi just loves her. So thank you to Trey, Vivi, and Elizabeth for helping me through these past two months. It was not easy, that's for sure, but I feel a huge sense of accomplishment being able to manage work and family.

So this weekend we will relax.

Catching Up

Things have been super busy in our lives since the beginning of 2010. I started back to work at a new job and just in time for busy season. Things are now starting to slow down and we have been able to get off earlier this week. For the past two months I have been logging some long hours at the office, working 7 to 7, crunching numbers all day long. Fun.

Stylin'

Today was such a fun family Sunday! We went to Mass this morning at St. Andrews and Vivi did such a great job. Then we went over to Mac's on 7th for an awesome Sunday brunch. After our morning activities the clouds cleared away and out came the sun, and so did the sunglasses. Vivi thought she was so funny with her sunglasses on, we had to take a picture!
